I am Vanessa Rose. As a bilingual poet and writer based in Germany and rooted in my U.S. American heritage, my work thrives in the spaces between cultures and identities.

While my academic foundation was laid in Foreign Languages and Cultural Studies at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, my poetic voice was truly shaped during a transformative year in Dublin, Ireland.

Today, my writing explores the visceral intersections of trauma, healing, and bodily autonomy. I use archetypal imagery to navigate the complex reclamation of the self, balancing the sacred with the profane. Through biological metaphors and domestic precision, I seek a raw, unapologetic emotional truth.
